You don’t have to change your number
Keep the number on your van, your shopfront and your Google listing. You forward the calls you’d otherwise miss to your MAVRK receptionist — one code to switch on, one to switch off. It takes about thirty seconds and you can undo it just as fast.
The codes
These work the same on Telstra, Optus and Vodafone mobiles. Replace NUMBER with your MAVRK number in full national format — no spaces, no +61. Dial it like a phone call and wait for the confirmation.
Only calls you don’t answer
**61*NUMBER###61#The safest place to start. Your phone rings first, exactly as it does now. If you pick up, nothing changes — MAVRK only answers the ones you would have missed.
When your line is busy
**67*NUMBER###67#For when you are already on a call. The second caller reaches the receptionist instead of a busy tone.
When your phone is off or out of range
**62*NUMBER###62#Covers flat batteries, tunnels and job sites with no reception.
Every call, straight away
**21*NUMBER###21#Your phone never rings. Use this for after-hours or while you are on the tools — not usually as a permanent setting.
Not sure what’s switched on? Clear everything
Dial ##002# to cancel every forwarding rule at once and put your phone back exactly as it was. Nothing about your number, plan or voicemail changes.
Landlines are different
These codes are for mobiles. If your business number is a landline or a VoIP service, forwarding is usually set in your provider’s portal rather than by dialling a code — tell us who you’re with and we’ll walk you through it.
Prefer to move the number over?
You can port an existing number to MAVRK instead of forwarding it. It takes longer and involves paperwork with your current carrier, so most businesses start with forwarding and decide later.
