Add an AI chatbot to your Squarespace site
Squarespace has a Code Injection panel whose Footer field puts code before the closing body tag on every page. Paste the MAVRK snippet there once and the chat bubble is live across your site.
Install on Squarespace in three steps
- 1Open Code Injection
From the Squarespace home menu open Settings, then Developer Tools, then Code Injection. On older accounts it sits under Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.
- 2Paste into Footer
Paste the one-line snippet below into the Footer field, not the Header. Squarespace says footer code is injected before the closing body tag on every page. Replace app-XXXXXXXX with your App ID.
- 3Save
Click Save. The bubble appears on your live site straight away; if you do not see it, hard-refresh the page once.
Your App ID is on the Website widget card at mavrk.ai/receptionist after you sign up and paste your website address. It looks like app-1a2b3c4d.

What the chatbot does once it is on your Squarespace site

Common questions
I am on the Squarespace Basic plan. Can I still add it?
Not through Code Injection, which Basic does not include. You can add a Code block to a single page instead and paste the inline chat window from our GoDaddy guide there, or upgrade to Core.
Does it work on Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1?
Yes. Code Injection exists on both versions and the Footer field behaves the same way.
Will it clash with Squarespace’s own chat or forms?
No. The MAVRK bubble sits in the bottom-right corner in its own frame and does not change your pages, forms or styles.
