Add an AI front desk to your WordPress site

The MAVRK Front Desk plugin puts a chat bubble on your WordPress site that answers visitors from the pages you already have — services, prices, hours, policies — and takes bookings. Install it, paste your App ID, and it is live; your theme and pages are never touched.

Install in three steps

  1. 1
    Download the plugin

Grab mavrk-front-desk.zip with the button above. It is a few kilobytes.

  2. 2
    Upload and activate

In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, click Install Now, then Activate.

  3. 3
    Paste your App ID

Open Settings → MAVRK Front Desk, paste the App ID from your MAVRK dashboard and save. The bubble is live.

Your App ID is on the Website widget card at mavrk.ai/receptionist — it is the data-mavrk-app value in your embed code and looks like app-1a2b3c4d.

It never edits your theme. The plugin stores four settings and prints one script tag before the closing body tag. Deactivate it and everything is gone.

No plugin? Paste one line

If you would rather not add a plugin, paste this before the closing body tag — a header-and-footer code plugin or your theme's footer template both work. Replace app-XXXXXXXX with your App ID.

<script src="https://mavrk.ai/widget.js" data-mavrk-app="app-XXXXXXXX" async></script>

Optional: data-mavrk-color="#16a34a" sets the bubble colour and data-mavrk-theme="light" or "dark" pins the theme.

Common questions

Will the plugin slow my WordPress site down?

No. It adds one small script that loads async, after your page has rendered, and the chat itself opens in a separate frame only when a visitor clicks the bubble.

Does it change my theme or my pages?

No. The plugin does not touch your theme, templates or content. It adds a chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of your pages and nothing else.

What does it cost?

The plugin is free. It needs a MAVRK account: a free 7-day trial, then from $29/month for the site chatbot.

Does it work with page builders and caching plugins?

Yes. It is a normal WordPress-enqueued script, so page builders and caching plugins treat it like any other script, whichever builder you use. If your optimisation plugin has a "delay JavaScript" option, exclude mavrk.ai/widget.js from it so the bubble shows as soon as the page loads.

How do I remove it?

Deactivate the plugin under Plugins and the bubble disappears straight away. Deleting the plugin also removes its settings from your database.

Ready to put it on your site?

Sign up, paste your website address so MAVRK reads your pages, and copy your App ID into the plugin. Free 7-day trial, then from $29/month.
